Hunt and fish your own healthy ingredients. Then turn them into delicious meals.
I will upload videos of how I caught my ingredients and show what type of meals I made out of them – and how. We will be publishing recipes also in written form for quick access. If you desire some tutorials, there is a section for that as well.
We have also a blog section. You can find stories ‘behind the scenes’ and some deep thoughts about (outdoors) life.
The story of how I hunted my first deer
I hunted my first animal – a roe deer buck – after some struggle. It was not as easy as I thought it was going to be. Take out your pop corn and see!
The best burger I had
Once you hunt your first animal, and compose a meal out of it, the taste can be heavenly. At least if it is a Venison Cheeseburger made on open fire.
Stag and buck – who is who?
When group of old college buddies need a break, the results are luxury meals outdoors. And I managed to keep it a secret!
Camping coffee vs. Cowboy coffee
I made comparison between these two methods. And a tutorial how to make them.
“It all started, when I was sitting all by myself in corona isolation, thinking ‘what would be safe to do’”
Practically my entire family have been hunters and fishermen. I have always been an outdoors person, but never caught my own food. I do not know why is it, exactly.
Lot of people are concerned about the climate change – for a reason! Eating meat is bad and changing into a vegan, is a virtue. But that is not the whole truth. If you eat meat from an animal, which has been farmed, then it can accelerate the climate change. But if you eat something that has been running, swimming of flying in the wild, there is absolutely no harm. When animals are hunted responsively, it is actually helping the environment. And when the meat – and other ingredients – come directly from the nature, it is healthy and tastes good.
‘Thanks’ to the great pandemic, social distancing is limiting people’s possible hobbies and activities. But walking in the nature is still quite safe. No wonder, there have been record numbers all over the world for people who are now interested in hunting and fishing. I am one of them now. Moving outdoors keeps you in good shape and you get to avoid the crowds. When you in addition can keep yourself healthy by eating ecological, natural food, what could be better?
I urge you to join me in my journey to catch healthy ingredients and turning them into delicious food. Let’s explore this part of life together and learn how we can help ourselves and the environment.
